This week I’m delighted to share a conversation I recorded with Edsurge CEO and Co-Founder Betsy Corcoran back in May this year.

In this episode we talk about how Betsy left her secure role at Forbes (at the height of the economic recession). Betsy then embarked on some educational volunteering, dust-bunny collection and finally set up Edsurge in a bid to better understand why the future technologies of learning were not making it into the everyday schools of California.

We also talk yoga, egos and high-stakes student academic and entrepreneurial expectation in the Silicon Valley, as well as what Hamilton the musical has got to do with Personalised Learning.
